Full article about the buying process coming soon. I will say this, out of all the dealerships I've dealt with, this one was the best. Also, this funky little machine is going to be so much fun to have around. My friend is already planning to take it out to the desert and given that I helped her acquire it, I'll get plenty of seat time. Gonna see just how good it's off road capabilities are!

Isn't this a crossover? I thought Oppo despised crossovers. Why does this one get all the praise? Not criticizing, just wondering.

Maybe because of the recent Jalopnik review: http://jalopnik.com/the-mercedes-g…

As one of apparently few Oppo GLA fans, I approve!

I'll give any vehicle the benefit of the doubt and reserve judgement until I've driven it, even crossovers.
In the case of the GLA I like it because it's so odd looking and it's fun to drive. I'll be going into much more detail in the write up of the buying process.

Yeah it's just such a strange vehicle that it works. The standard features on it are pretty crazy. I was cross shopping the Q3 and it doesn't even come close for the same amount.

I think small crossovers that are little more than lifted wagons are starting to get some love. Me and my wife are pretty fond of the Juke and the GLA looks great on paper and I'd love to try one out. I view this new segment as rally car lite with a little more cargo and some extra suspension travel.

The reason my wife likes it is because it's something small and economical while still giving her that high up commanding driving position she's so comfortable with. I like it because it's the closest thing to a Fiesta ST I can get my wife to consider.

You like the GLA and the '14 4Runner? That's insanity!

Is Mrs. McSeanerson going to get one?
I really need to get some seat time in the 45 AMG to fully grasp how good this platform can be but even from the short time I've spent in my friend's 250, I can tell it's for real.

Mrs.McSeanerson actually prefers the Juke. She says she has always liked weird looking things and I should know.

Haha. I hope it's at least the NISMO Juke...

The wife doesn't care about that stuff but in my opinion the nismo isn't worth it. It's basically coilovers, sticky tires, and a tune. Nothing you couldn't do yourself cheaper and possibly better.
